10 strongest META roamer heroes Season 41 is not a mystery after Patch 2.1.88. Moonton buffed traditional roamers, changed Roaming Blessing income, and handed several tanks enough early durability to survive mistakes that should still be punished.

The result is simple: hard engage tanks are back, backline supports are playable again, and damage roamers lost part of the free early pressure that carried them through Season 40.

#Strongest META roamer heroes Season 41, ranked by patch value

10 ranked roamers make the Season 41 shortlist, with 7 receiving direct Patch 2.1.88 buffs or neutral reshaping. The strongest picks are heroes that gained durability, income access, or lower resource pressure without losing their core crowd control.

RankHeroRoamer TypePatch 2.1.88 ChangeSeason 41 Verdict

10DiggieAnti-CC supportHP growth 135 to 140, Physical Defense growth 3 to 4A tier

The ranking rewards heroes that scale with the new roamer income system. Roaming Blessings now gain EXP and Gold through damage, vision, and shared income, which means passive bodyguard roamers no longer fall behind for doing actual roamer work. A shocking concept. Moonton took several years, but we take progress where it appears.

For broader role context, compare this list against the current MLBB tier list and live MLBB hero statistics. Roam is now less about early cheese and more about repeatable map control.

#Strongest META roamer heroes Season 41 tier table

4 S tier roamers define the current draft priority. Hylos, Chip, Tigreal, and Atlas gained either raw durability or system value, and none of them lost the engage tools that made them relevant.

TierHeroesShared StrengthDraft Priority
SHylos, Chip, Tigreal, AtlasDurable engage plus reliable map pressureFirst rotation material
A+Minotaur, MathildaStrong utility with improved damage or scalingEarly to mid draft
ARafaela, Khufra, Carmilla, DiggieMatchup dependent but statistically supported by patch buffsCounterpick or second rotation

The gap between S and A+ is not mechanics. It is tolerance for bad tempo. Hylos, Chip, Tigreal, and Atlas can lose one early rotation and still function at Turtle. Mathilda and Minotaur need cleaner coordination to extract the same value.

Season 41 rewards roamers who can stand in fog, trigger income, and force vision before the jungler commits. That makes pure backline supports better than before, but still below tanks that can start and absorb fights.

#1. Hylos, 2700 base HP and 4 Magic Defense growth

2700 base HP, up from 2600, gives Hylos the cleanest Season 41 buff among frontline roamers. His Magic Defense growth also moved from 2.5 to 4, which directly improves his durability against mage poke during early river fights.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Base HP26002700+100
HP Growth310300-10
Magic Defense Growth2.54+1.5

Hylos ranks first because the patch improved what already mattered: early body presence. He does not need perfect setup, he just occupies space until the enemy gets tired of hitting a wall with hooves.

The HP growth reduction barely matters before level 8. Season 41 roam fights are decided around first Turtle, second Turtle, and mid control. Hylos is better in all three windows.

#2. Chip, 119 more base HP and stronger scaling

2600 base HP, up from 2481, puts Chip back into premium roamer territory. His HP growth also increased from 207 to 225, so the buff does not expire after laning phase.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Base HP24812600+119
HP Growth207225+18

Chip ranks second because his portal utility scales with coordinated rotations. The Season 41 economy change also helps him earn while contesting vision and forcing contact, instead of depending on minion share alone.

His weakness remains draft commitment. If a team drafts low follow-up damage, Chip becomes a delivery service for disappointment. With proper burst behind him, he is still one of the best roamers in MLBB Season 41.

#3. Tigreal, 2700 base HP and 25 Physical Defense

2700 base HP, up from 2581, gives Tigreal a stronger first rotation. His base Physical Defense also increased from 20 to 25, though his growth dropped from 8 to 7.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Base HP25812700+119
HP Growth307290-17
Base Physical Defense2025+5
Physical Defense Growth87-1

Tigreal ranks third because Season 41 favors early setup over late stat padding. He reaches river stronger, tanks physical poke better, and still offers one of the most punishing engage chains in the role.

The growth nerf is real, but not fatal. If Tigreal reaches late game without forcing value, the issue is not the patch. It is the Tigreal.

#4. Atlas, 2800 base HP and 280 HP growth

2800 base HP, up from 2710, gives Atlas the highest listed base HP among the top engage tanks. His HP growth also increased from 243 to 280, which is a massive scaling correction.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Base HP27102800+90
HP Growth243280+37
Base Physical Defense2125+4

Atlas ranks fourth because the patch fixed his durability curve without touching his engage identity. A tank that can survive longer while threatening Fatal Links becomes a draft tax.

He sits below Tigreal because his engage has a clearer warning window. Better opponents respect Atlas spacing. Worse opponents still donate five-man ultimates, because charity survives every patch.

#5. Minotaur, Skill 1 now reaches 500 base damage

500 max base damage on Skill 1, up from 355, is a large damage correction for Minotaur. His enhanced basic attack and enraged bonus also moved from 3% Total HP to 25 plus 5% Total HP.

Skill ValueBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Skill 1 Base Damage280 to 355325 to 500+45 to +145
Enhanced Bonus3% Total HP25 plus 5% Total HPHigher flat and percent value

Minotaur ranks fifth because he now contributes real damage while keeping sustain and crowd control. That matters in Season 41, where roamer income rewards contact and repeated pressure.

He is still below the four S tier tanks because his timing windows are more conditional. When Rage timing is clean, he looks unfair. When it is late, he looks like a large apology.

#6. Mathilda, 125% Magic Bonus on Skill 1

125% Magic Bonus on Skill 1, up from 80%, gives Mathilda a 45 percentage point scaling increase. Her Ultimate also gained higher impact damage and stronger shield scaling.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Skill 1 Magic Bonus80%125%+45 percentage points
Ultimate Impact Damage320 to 400320 to 480+80 at max level
Ultimate Shield Magic Bonus160%180%+20 percentage points
Ultimate Mana Cost150 to 210120 to 160-30 to -50

Mathilda ranks sixth because her mobility utility now comes with better damage and cheaper mana. The patch did not just improve her comfort. It improved her threat per rotation.

She remains below the S tier tanks because she cannot frontline the same way. Season 41 gave supports more room, not immunity from being deleted by coordinated burst.

#7. Rafaela, passive cooldown cut from 40s to 10s

10 seconds base cooldown on passive, down from 40, is the largest numerical support change in Patch 2.1.88. Rafaela also gained Skill 1 damage, moving from 225 to 400 into 350 to 600.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Passive Base Cooldown40s10s-30s
Skill 1 Base Damage225 to 400350 to 600+125 to +200
Skill 2 Mana Cost80 to 12075 to 100-5 to -20
Ultimate Mana Cost150 to 200120 to 160-30 to -40

Rafaela ranks seventh because she now pressures lane and river earlier instead of waiting to become useful. Her mana cost reductions also fit longer vision contests.

She still lacks hard lockdown compared to the tanks above her. Healing and movement speed are valuable, but Season 41 fights still begin with someone getting caught. Rafaela prefers not to be the one doing the catching.

#8. Khufra, 100 extra passive base damage

100 extra base damage on passive gives Khufra a cleaner early trade pattern. His anti-dash value also rises indirectly because the patch buffed several mobile fighters and assassins.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Passive Extra Base Damage0 listed bonus+100+100
Core UtilityAnti-dash controlAnti-dash controlUnchanged

Khufra ranks eighth because his value depends heavily on enemy composition. Into dash-heavy drafts, he jumps several places. Into static backlines, he becomes less mandatory.

The patch buff is modest but relevant. He now punishes early face checks harder, and the roamer economy change pays him for playing forward.

#9. Carmilla, Skill 1 early damage increased

85 to 135 Skill 1 base damage, up from 65 to 130, gives Carmilla better early contact value. Her passive also changed from 7 to 11 stolen Hybrid Defense into 6 to 13, reducing level 1 value but improving scaling.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Skill 1 Base Damage65 to 13085 to 135+20 to +5
Stolen Hybrid Defense7 to 116 to 13-1 early, +2 late

Carmilla ranks ninth because Season 41 rewards close-range roamers that can fight inside river space. She does not control the first second of a fight as cleanly as Tigreal or Atlas, but she punishes grouped targets harder.

Her main issue is entry reliability. If she reaches the backline, the numbers look good. If she gets kited, the spreadsheet quietly leaves the room.

#10. Diggie, better scaling but less early armor

140 HP growth, up from 135, and Physical Defense growth 4, up from 3, give Diggie better scaling. His base Physical Defense dropped from 20 to 15, so the early lane is less forgiving.

MetricBefore Patch 2.1.88After Patch 2.1.88Change
Base HP23472320-27
HP Growth135140+5
Base Physical Defense2015-5
Physical Defense Growth34+1
Skill 1 Mana Cost70 to 12070 to 95-25 at max level
Skill 2 Mana Cost9090 to 115+25 at max level

Diggie ranks tenth because anti-crowd-control value always finds a draft slot when hard engage rises. Tigreal, Atlas, Minotaur, and Khufra becoming stronger naturally increases Diggie's relevance.

The catch is simple: his early physical durability is worse. Diggie remains a counterpick, not a blind S tier roamer. He is powerful when drafted into the right enemy setup, and mediocre when picked out of habit.

#Season 41 roamer meta winners and losers

7 of the top 10 roamers gained direct Patch 2.1.88 value, while the remaining 3 gained matchup value from the meta shift. Tank engage rose the most because the patch improved early durability and made active vision play more profitable.

Meta GroupWinnersLosersReason
Hard engage tanksHylos, Tigreal, Atlas, ChipSquishy pickoff roamersMore durability and better income access
Utility supportsMathilda, Rafaela, DiggiePassive heal botsMana reductions and matchup value
Close-range controlMinotaur, Carmilla, KhufraEarly burst roamersContact-based income favors repeated fights

Hilda and Khaleed drop out of the top 10 because both lost early burst. Hilda's base HP fell from 2680 to 2600, while Skill 2 damage dropped from 220 to 420 into 200 to 400 with lower attack scaling. Khaleed's Skill 1 also lost early damage and scaling.

Kalea also falls below the cutoff. Her Skill 2 cooldown increased from 13 to 11 seconds into 16 to 13 seconds, and her passive early damage was reduced. Moonton called it a curve adjustment. The early game calls it a nerf.

#What is the best roamer in MLBB Season 41?

Hylos is the best roamer in MLBB Season 41. Patch 2.1.88 gave him 100 more base HP and higher Magic Defense growth, which improves his first Turtle presence and mid control.

Chip, Tigreal, and Atlas sit directly behind him. All three remain first rotation options, but Hylos has the cleanest combination of durability, tempo, and low execution tax.

#Final Season 41 roamer verdict

4 S tier roamers set the draft baseline for Season 41. Hylos, Chip, Tigreal, and Atlas are the strongest META roamer heroes Season 41 because their buffs line up with the new Roaming Blessing economy.

Supports are better, but tanks still decide the first engage. Moonton widened the role pool without removing the basic truth of ranked MLBB: someone has to stand in the bush first.
