Game Phases

Understanding the flow of a match helps you make the right macro decisions at each stage.

Early Game

0:00 - 4:00

Jungler clears all five camps → reaches Level 4 → first gank

Laners focus on securing last hits and wave control

Roamer helps gold laner clear wave 1, then rotates mid

First Turtle spawns at 2:00. Contest it with your team

Avoid unnecessary deaths. Early kills give snowball advantage

Mid Game

4:00 - 8:00

Grouping for objectives becomes priority over solo farming

Rotate as a team to secure Turtle every 2 minutes

Push outer turrets to open up enemy jungle for invasion

Control vision around river with smart bush checking

Assassins should look for pick-offs on split pushing enemies

Late Game

8:00+

Lord spawns at 8:00. This is the game-deciding objective

DO NOT get caught out. One death can lose the game

Group as 5 and fight near objectives, not randomly in jungle

Evolved Lord from 18:00 is nearly unstoppable. Prioritize it

Split pushing is risky but can work if your team can stall 4v5

Objective Timers

Key timings every player should know. Contesting objectives at the right time wins games.

Lithowanderer

Spawns: 0:45
Respawn: 2 min

The river creep beside mid lane, not a buff camp. Killing it regenerates mana for nearby allies and leaves a Stone Roamer that reveals enemies.

Turtle

Spawns: 2:00
Respawn: 2 min

Grants gold and XP to the whole team. Securing multiple turtles creates a gold lead.

Lord

Spawns: 8:00
Respawn: 3 / 2.5 min

Game-changing summon that pushes a lane. It charges turrets from its first spawn, evolves once at 18:00, and respawns faster from then on.

Jungle Buffs

Spawns: 0:30
Respawn: 90 sec

Purple (Blue) buff gives CDR/mana. Orange (Red) buff gives slow on attacks. Junglers need these.

2

Focus on last-hitting minions for gold advantage

Map FAQ

Common questions about the Mobile Legends map, its lanes, jungle, and objectives.

The Mobile Legends map has three lanes: the Gold Lane at the bottom, the Mid Lane through the center, and the EXP Lane at the top. Between them sits the jungle, split into two halves with buff camps, while the river runs diagonally through the middle and holds the Turtle and Lord pits. The Gold Laner and Roamer start bottom, the Mid Laner holds center, the EXP Laner solos top, and the Jungler clears camps.

The two key objectives are the Turtle and the Lord, both found in the river. The Turtle spawns first at 2:00 and grants gold and XP to your whole team when secured. The Lord spawns at 8:00 and fights alongside your team to push a lane. The Lithowanderer (river crab) and the Blue and Red jungle buffs are smaller objectives that grant gold, vision, and combat bonuses.

The Lord spawns at the 8:00 mark and respawns about 3 minutes after each time it is killed, dropping to about 2.5 minutes once the clock passes 18:00. The Turtle spawns earlier at 2:00 and respawns every 2 minutes until the Lord arrives. The Lord charges turrets and cracks open inner towers from that very first spawn, and at 18:00 it becomes the Evolved Lord, where its stats stop growing. Those late Lords are the ones that end games.

A standard jungle path clears all five camps on your own side: the two buff camps (Purple, also called Blue, and Orange, also called Red) plus the three small ones. Those five are exactly level 4, so finish the clear before your first gank and you arrive with your ultimate up. Start at whichever buff your gold laner can help you clear, and use Retribution on the camps instead of hoarding it: it comes back every 35 seconds, so a camp clear costs you nothing against the 2:00 Turtle, and you only need to hold it as an objective timer comes up.

At the start, the Gold Laner farms the bottom Gold Lane with the Roamer's help, the Mid Laner takes the center lane, the EXP Laner solos the top lane, and the Jungler begins on a buff camp. After the first wave clears, the Mid Laner and Roamer rotate to create map pressure and help the Jungler contest the first Turtle at 2:00.
