Build Notes
You want a mix of Crit for demonic slash and Attack Speed/On-Hit effects. DHS is just awesome. You basically wanna follow the build path, alternating the two. If you want stronger all-in and dont face tanks, consider Fury before DHS. You lane against a tank, go DHS early, 1st or 2nd. You want more dmg less pursuit, you can swap GDS and Fury. You need Antiheal, advance Sea Halberd. You don't need antiheal, grab BoD or Immortality or sth. You generally wanna start with Windtalker for it's movement speed. Don't waste gold on boots, you're Exp lane it's not worth it. Delays your 1st item spike too much. Windtalker, Corrosion Scythe and your base movement speed + dash got you covered. Don't add additional crit items, the build already caps out at 100% crit. Emblems you can use Marksman instead, especially against tankier foes. Fighter is less than ideal but might make for an adequate substitute if you don't have assassin or marksman at a high level. Talents, Fatal for additional crit, Bargain Hunter to get the items faster, Concussive Blast for how good it is for early waveclear and skirmishes. Respect the more aggressive early game matchups properly and play with your team, you'll be fine. Final addition, while he is officially designated EXP lane, with some skill and understanding of the game you can play him mid and roam as well, very fun and can be quite effective (OBVIOUSLY AS ROAM YOU BUY TIER 1 ROAMING BOOTS AS SUGGESTED, CONSIDER DIRE HIT OR CONCEAL; you can consider upgrading them to atk speed or mobility boots, possibly tenacity against heavy cc (though if you're playing argus vs heavy cc and fail to avoid it, you're pretty fcked anyways), also consider selling them late game for 6th item). Gold lane can work too though you need to be REALLY careful of enemy roam. If they 2v1 you it can get really nasty so if you wana try communicate with your roam beforehand. Don't push the wave until you see enemy roam. Same as exp lane kinda but enemy laner has range.
