In the not-so-distant future, humanity embarked on a remarkable journey, setting foot on all nine celestial bodies in their solar system, yet their ultimate aspiration of severing the bonds that tied them to the solar system still lay far on the horizon.

It appeared as if humans had scaled the zenith of technological achievement, but in the process, they had unwittingly exhausted the solar system's finite resources.

The tapestry of civilization had woven itself to its natural end, and was beginning to unwind, leaving humanity suspended in an interminable abyss.

Then came the enigmatic call of the "WOW!" signal. Through the dedicated and collaborative efforts of generations of scientists and mathematicians, humanity finally deciphered the enigmatic message that had undertaken an 1,800-year journey through the cosmos. In their hands now lay the keys to quantum communication and warp drive technology, promising a grand escape from their solar cradle and grave.

The next logical step was to chart a course through the abyss of the Dark Nebula, in pursuit of the celestial body that sent the signal. The belief was that, once this "Eden" was reached, the knowledge to unlock the universe could be obtained, saving humanity and catapulting human civilization into a new era of transcendence.

One by one, ships outfitted with warp drives soared into the cosmic expanse, bearing the indefatigable hope of humanity toward the Eden System. Yet, none were equipped to make the journey back.

Through fragmented utterances relayed by means of quantum communication, humanity gleaned the perilous truths shrouding the Dark Nebula, revealing the existence of an ageless entity — the Ancient Space Farers...

Eden System Nestled within the 2MASS 19281982-2640123 star system in the Sagittarius constellation, the Eden System is the origin point of the mysterious signal later dubbed "WOW!". Eden represents the zenith of human ambition as they strive to break the celestial bonds of their solar system.

Dark Nebula An expansive and ominous interstellar nebula composed of ethereal dust, hydrogen, helium, and ionized gases. It envelops the Eden System, spanning vast reaches that measure hundreds of light-years. Hidden within the depths of this celestial labyrinth lies the energy core of the Ancient Space Farers, and their formidable armada known as the Dark Fleet. It serves as both a choke point and the ultimate trial for intrepid travelers navigating the perilous cosmic byways.

Stellar Sails The advent of stellar sails has ushered humanity into the boundless expanse of deep space thanks to warp drive engines. Resembling flexible solar panels, these sails have altered the very form of interstellar vessels, endowing them with a slight touch of the romanticism associated with the ancient Age of Exploration.

Lightsail Ship These interstellar crafts, equipped with stellar sails and the elusive warp drive, are capable of achieving superluminal speeds. These navigators possess an unwavering resolve and a heightened sixth sense, and are aided by integrated AI companions which enable them to withstand the oppressive mental force waves of the Ancient Space Farers. These companions also allow them to deftly navigate the perilous labyrinth of the Dark Nebula, skillfully eluding its snares to find the true path.

Valkyrie Suit The extraordinary Valkyrie suit was developed in response to the enigmatic threat of the Ancient Space Farers. Crafted as a wearable mechanized suit, it draws its power from a miniature warp drive, dubbed the Valkyrie Drive, affixed to its dorsal expanse. When set to maximum power output, this suit has the capacity to drain all surrounding energy within a 1 AU radius, including the suit itself.

Ancient Space Farers These enigmatic entities are the residual vestiges of a primordial era, when pioneers transcended into higher-dimensional realms. Born anew from the amalgamation of the dread and resentment of countless sentient beings and given corporeal form from the fragmented bodies torn asunder by the tempestuous eddies of space-time, these entities are paranoia incarnate. Within the expanse of the Dark Nebula, they have arisen as the ultimate arbiters, acting as the gatekeepers for those civilizations seeking to inherit their legacy. Any civilization unable to overcome its challenge becomes ensnared within its own star system, to gradually wither away into oblivion.

Wraith Reconfigured by the Ancient Space Farers after becoming ensnared in the Dark Nebula's treacherous web, Wraiths were once intrepid explorers from various civilizations who have been remade into their current form. These entities are both flesh and machine in equal measure, piloting spectral vessels cobbled together from the remnants of starships hailing from across the cosmos. Acting under a single directive, they form the Dark Fleet, a shadowy armada that will eradicate anyone foolish enough to venture into their domain.
