Situational Swaps

Rapid Boots replaces Swift Crossbow
Use boots if you not confident enough to fight the lane or if the enemies has a lot of dash heroes.
Demon Hunter Sword replaces Swift Crossbow
Swap to DHS if theres a lot of tanks heroes on the enemies: Fredrinn, Barats, Belerick, etc. Sometimes Layla already deals enough damage to the enemies, its just really a Situtational Item.
Blade of Despair replaces Sea Halberd
Swap to BOD if the game already gone into a Late Game Phase, its boost Layla damage through the roof
Build Notes
Layla is my main hero for the gold lane, i have different approach for this hero since i have a high mechanic skill i always play upfront and keeping my finger on flicker. For this build i never build shoes nor movement items since layla cant double lane because its too fragile and ineffective very risky also just hug your towers, As you can see i always build Swift Crossbow first since its really good for layla with the combo of skill 1 and 2 you get a free Attack Speed and Layla Attack Range is really far. Tips for playing layla is just HIT your skill 1 then count your hit if you fighting a assassin/marksmans usually you only need 3 -6 hit to kill them and rely on the crit if they didnt die just back its good enough already since its giving your team and advantageous for hp trade.
