Egypt is the driving force behind MLBB esports in the Middle East and North Africa. Egyptian players make up nearly half of all MPL MENA rosters, and Egyptian-majority teams have competed at the highest level. Ultra Legends won MPL MENA Season 7 with a dominant 4-1 Grand Finals victory over Team Falcons, and top Egyptian players like Koba, Maro, Alpho, and Smile have competed across multiple MPL MENA seasons. Egypt's women's team has earned back-to-back bronze medals at the IESF World Esports Championships (2024 and 2025). Egypt uses Eastern European Time (EET, UTC+2) with no daylight saving, so the daily reset happens at 10:00 AM EET every day.
In October 2025, MPL MENA held its Season 8 Grand Finals at the Mall of Egypt, the league's first-ever official event in Egypt. The event drew over 1,000 live attendees and nearly matched the series' all-time viewership record. Cairo also hosted the Carry1st Africa Cup MLBB Women's Invitational qualifier in 2025, Africa's biggest all-female MLBB tournament. The 10:00 AM reset falls during a convenient mid-morning window, and weekly reset is every Monday at the same time. Starlight membership refreshes on the 1st of each month at 10:00 AM EET.
MLBB resets daily at 10:00 AM EET (10:00 Eastern European Time). The MLBB server runs on UTC+8, which is 6 hours ahead of EET (UTC+2). All resets happen at 10:00 AM local time.
The MLBB server is 6 hours ahead of Eastern European Time (EET). When the server shows 4:00 PM (16:00), it is 10:00 AM in Egypt. Egypt does not observe daylight saving time, so this difference is constant year-round.
