Australia has a grassroots MLBB community primarily sustained by Southeast Asian diaspora players from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam. There is no Moonton-sanctioned league for Australia; the community-organized MLBB Oceania Challenge (OCC) serves as the main competitive circuit. Australia spans three timezones with very different reset experiences: the daily reset hits at 6:00 PM AEST in Sydney and Melbourne (Eastern), 5:30 PM ACST in Adelaide (Central), and 4:00 PM AWST in Perth (Western). Perth players on AWST (UTC+8) share the same timezone as the MLBB server, meaning server time and local time match exactly.
Australian players connect to Southeast Asian servers since there is no dedicated Oceania game server, which means Perth (closer to SEA) typically gets better latency than Sydney or Melbourne. Under Moonton's 2026 competitive structure, Australia and Oceania are grouped with Southeast Asia, and the Esports Nations Cup 2026 includes a "SEA and Oceania" qualifier that could give an Australian team its first official international opportunity. During daylight saving time (October through April), Eastern and Central times shift one hour later. Weekly reset is every Monday at 6:00 PM AEST / 5:30 PM ACST / 4:00 PM AWST, and Starlight refreshes on the 1st of each month at the same times.
The MLBB daily reset depends on your timezone. It resets at 6:00 PM AEST (Eastern, UTC+10) in Sydney and Melbourne, 5:30 PM ACST (Central, UTC+9:30) in Adelaide, and 4:00 PM AWST (Western, UTC+8) in Perth. During daylight saving time, Eastern shifts to 7:00 PM AEDT and Central to 6:30 PM ACDT. Western Australia does not observe daylight saving.
Yes. AWST (Australian Western Standard Time, UTC+8) is the same timezone as the MLBB server. Perth players see the same clock in-game as on their phones, with all resets at 4:00 PM AWST.
MLBB ranked seasons end at 6:00 PM AEST / 5:30 PM ACST / 4:00 PM AWST on the scheduled date. Season 39 is currently active, lasting approximately 90 days. Check the countdown timer above for the exact remaining time.
Australia does not have a Moonton-sanctioned league. The MLBB Oceania Challenge (OCC) is a community-organized tournament that serves as the main competitive circuit. Under the 2026 MLBB esports structure, Oceania is grouped with Southeast Asia for international qualifier pathways.
Starlight membership resets on the 1st of every month at 6:00 PM AEST / 5:30 PM ACST / 4:00 PM AWST. During daylight saving, Eastern and Central times shift one hour later. This is when the new Starlight skin, rewards, and weekly diamond rebate become available.
